About the course
Urogynaecology is a dynamic and developing field that focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of pelvic floor disorders. The objective of this course is to provide participants with an understanding of the latest treatment options, diagnosis, and details of urogynaecological conditions.
Hands-on sessions will allow for the participants to acquire the practical skills necessary to give your patients the best care possible because of hands-on sessions. The course focuses on teaching practical procedures and enhancing surgical skills. The daily workshops will give all participants the opportunity to practice urethral bulking, mid-urethral tapes, and vaginal and laparoscopic repair of pelvic organ prolapse.
This is a highly practical course. For each topic, an instructor will explain the steps of the procedure, while participants—working in groups of 2 to 3 per cadaver—will perform the planned tasks. The course aims to equip participants with the fundamental knowledge needed to perform such procedures more safely and effectively in real surgeries.
