About the course
Osteotomies are some of the hardest procedures to master as an
orthopaedic surgeon. Extensive preoperative and cadaver/model training
is required to achieve the expected proficiency level.
This course aims to provide advanced specific training in femoral and pelvic osteotomies. The course will cover adult and paediatric hip pathology. Through case analysis we will discuss indications and surgical techniques.
Experienced surgeons will share their experience providing tips and tricks as well as the pitfalls for each procedure. Different osteotomies will be performed in a cadaver lab under the supervision of hip subspeciality surgeons.
