Surgical Training Centre

The Surgical Training Centre of the NOVA Medical School, located at the Carcavelos Campus, is a space dedicated to the teaching and exploration of human anatomy. Designed to support education in the health sciences, it combines academic tradition with modern pedagogical approaches, promoting rigorous, practical, and student-centred learning.

It also serves as a collaborative environment where students and educators engage closely with anatomical study, fostering critical thinking, precision, and a deep respect for the human body. 

The facility provides access to two types of specimens: full body and anatomical pieces, supporting a comprehensive and hands-on learning experience.
